1. Information We Collect

Information you provide

• Account & purchase information: Your name, email address, and (during payment) billing details required by our payment gateway.
• Communications: Messages you send us via the contact form, email, or support requests.

Information collected automatically

• Log data: IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, timestamps, and referring URLs.
• Cookies & similar technologies: Small files stored on your device to remember preferences and analyze traffic. See Section 6.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Process your purchase and deliver the eBook(s) you bought;
• Send order confirmations, download links, and (if applicable) update notifications for eBooks you own;
• Respond to your support requests and questions;
• Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, and security incidents;
• Comply with legal obligations including tax and accounting requirements;
• Improve the website and content based on aggregated usage data.

3. Payment Processing

All payments are processed by PayU, our third-party payment gateway. When you make a purchase, your payment information (card number, CVV, banking credentials) is transmitted directly to PayU on their secure, PCI-DSS compliant infrastructure. We do not see, collect, or store your full payment details. We only receive a transaction confirmation, the masked card identifier, and the email address used.

PayU's privacy practices are governed by their own privacy policy, available on the PayU website.

4. Sharing Your Information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share information only with:

• Service providers who help us operate the Service — payment gateway (PayU), email delivery service, hosting provider (Hostinger), and analytics. Each is bound by confidentiality and data protection agreements.
• Legal authorities, when required by valid legal process or to protect rights, safety, or property.
• Successors in the event of a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, with notice to you.

5. Data Retention

We retain order and account information for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards to comply with tax, accounting, and legal obligations (typically 7 years under Indian tax law). Support correspondence is retained for up to 3 years. You can request deletion of your information at any time, subject to those legal retention requirements (see Section 8).

6. Cookies

We use cookies for two purposes:

• Essential cookies — required for the site and checkout to function (session, cart, fraud prevention).
• Analytics cookies — to understand aggregated traffic patterns. We may use Google Analytics or similar services.

You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though parts of the site may not function correctly without them.

7. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including TLS/HTTPS encryption for all data in transit, restricted access to systems containing personal data, and secure storage of order records. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

• Delete your information (subject to legal retention requirements);

9. Children's Privacy

Teamsadda is intended for users aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.

10. International Users

Teamsadda is operated from India. If you access the Service from outside India, your information may be transferred to, stored in, and processed in India, where data protection laws may differ from those of your country.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the latest revision. For material changes, we will notify you by email (if you have an account with us) or by a prominent notice on the website.
